BSL — India's oldest language school since 1971, headquartered in Noida, UP — teaches Hindi with native North Indian trainers for all CEFR levels A1 to C2. For South Indian professionals, international students, and UPSC aspirants. Devanagari script included. Free QR-verified certificate.
No registration fee · Free level assessment
BSL's Hindi programme is uniquely designed for three distinct audiences, each with a different goal and curriculum. Not one generic Hindi course — three focused tracks.
BSL uses the international CEFR framework for Hindi — the same standard used by European language schools. This is what enables the QR-verified certificate that employers and universities can verify.
For aspirants from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and other non-Hindi states, the Hindi language paper is often the most challenging component of UPSC and state competitive exams. BSL's structured Samanya Hindi track addresses this directly.
Devanagari is a phonetic script — once you learn the alphabet, you can read any Hindi word correctly. BSL teaches Devanagari alongside spoken Hindi from lesson one. A selection of key characters and their pronunciation:
Every BSL Hindi session covers all four language skills. Native trainers from UP/Delhi teach Standard Hindi — not regional or Bollywood-stylised Hindi.
All plans include 3 free demo classes, free study material, and a free QR-verified CEFR certificate on completion.

Every BSL Hindi trainer is a native Hindi speaker from North India — British Council certified and specifically trained to teach Hindi to non-native speakers. They speak Standard Hindi (Manak Bhasha) — the form used in government, national media, and corporate India.
Who Needs Hindi at BSL
BSL’s Hindi course for non-native speakers serves several distinct groups. Hindi is the world’s 3rd most spoken language by native speakers, official in 22 Indian states, and the working language of India’s largest cultural and commercial markets.
30+ million Indians abroad. Children of NRIs who grew up in UK, US, Canada, UAE, Australia wanting to reconnect with their heritage Hindi. Heritage speakers rebuilding formal proficiency.
Expats at MNCs, NGOs, diplomatic missions, and UN agencies based in India. Hindi B1 transforms daily life quality and professional effectiveness in north India contexts.
Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam-speaking professionals who relocate to Hindi-belt cities (Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kanpur) for career reasons and need functional Hindi for daily life and work.
International fans of Bollywood, Bhangra, yoga, and Indian culture worldwide who want to understand Hindi content authentically without subtitles or translations.
Devanagari Script Guide
Devanagari has 11 vowels and 33 consonants. Each consonant has an inherent ‘a’ vowel sound. The script is phonetically consistent — every letter represents exactly one sound, unlike English. This makes Devanagari significantly easier to learn than it appears.
BSL teaches Devanagari from lesson one with: vowel-matra practice, consonant clusters, half-letters (halant), and number recognition (1 = १, 2 = २). Most BSL students achieve functional Devanagari reading within 3 to 4 weeks.
